About The Greater Pursuit
A call to seek God first and live intentionally around what matters most.

About The Greater Pursuit
The Greater Pursuit began as more than an idea. It became a mission for our family.
We are the Honeycutts, and our desire is to help people seek God first, live with intention, and align their lives around what matters most. The Greater Pursuit is rooted in Matthew 6:33: “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” That verse has become more than a Scripture we believe. It has become the foundation for how we want to live, lead, serve, build, and help others.

Our Family Mission
The Greater Pursuit is personal to us because we know how easy it is to become busy, successful, responsible, and still feel like something is out of alignment.
Life can fill up quickly. Work, family, church, finances, responsibilities, schedules, goals, and expectations can all compete for attention. Even good things can become overwhelming when they are not ordered around what matters most.
As a family, we want to live differently.
We want to build a life that seeks God first. We want our home, work, service, relationships, resources, and daily decisions to reflect a greater purpose. We are not presenting The Greater Pursuit as people who have everything perfectly figured out. We are walking this journey too.
This brand is part of our family’s mission to help others awaken to their God-given purpose, align their lives around that purpose, and continue pursuing it faithfully.

Where the Framework Came From
For more than 25 years, I have worked across different sectors, organizations, and leadership environments. My career has included project management, process improvement, technology, operations, organizational leadership, and executive-level strategy.
Over the years, I began to see a repeated pattern.
Organizations often struggled not because people did not care, and not because they lacked effort, but because they were misaligned. Their direction was unclear. Their systems were not designed to support their purpose. Their delivery was inconsistent because their work, people, processes, and priorities were not moving together.
That insight eventually became a simple framework: Direction. Design. Delivery.
Direction is knowing where you are going and why it matters.
Design is building the structure, systems, habits, and rhythms that support that direction.
Delivery is faithfully carrying it out through consistent action.
At first, I used this framework to help organizations think more clearly about strategy, operations, execution, and alignment. But over time, God began to deal with my heart about something deeper.
I began to realize this was not only an organizational issue. It was a life issue.
People experience misalignment too.
We can have goals without direction. We can have responsibilities without order. We can have good intentions without systems that support them. We can be busy, active, and even successful while still feeling disconnected from the purpose God has placed in our lives.
That realization became the beginning of The Greater Pursuit.

Why The Greater Pursuit Exists
The Greater Pursuit exists to help people align their lives around seeking God first. Our mission is to help individuals and families discover what God has placed in their hands, clarify the mission He is calling them to live, design a life that supports that mission, and pursue it with daily faithfulness. This is not about chasing success for its own sake. It is not about adding more pressure, more noise, or more activity. It is about slowing down long enough to ask better questions: What has God entrusted to me? What mission has He placed in my life? What needs to be realigned? What habits, rhythms, and systems need to change? What does it look like to seek God first in my home, work, relationships, service, and daily decisions? The Greater Pursuit was created to help people walk through those questions with clarity and intention.
The Journey
The Greater Pursuit is built around a simple journey:
- Awaken - Awaken is where you begin to recognize where you are, what feels misaligned, and what God may be calling you to pursue. This is the starting point for reflection, clarity, and honest assessment.
- Align - Align is where you begin connecting your mission to your actual life. This is where direction becomes clearer, systems are examined, priorities are reordered, and practical changes begin to take shape.
- Pursue - Pursue is where alignment becomes a way of life. This is the daily walk of living with intention, taking faithful action, staying encouraged, and continuing to seek God first.
More Than a Brand
The Greater Pursuit is more than a website, a phrase, or a collection of products.
It is a call to live differently.
It is a reminder that life is not meant to be built around distraction, comparison, pressure, or temporary success. It is meant to be built around God’s purpose.
Our hope is that this site becomes a tool for you. A place to reflect. A place to reset. A place to clarify your mission. A place to realign your life. A place to remember what matters most.
We invite you to begin the journey, take the next faithful step, and pursue the life God has called you to live.
This is The Greater Pursuit.
